Our product, the Revitacel Replenishing Complex, is very similar to TNS Recovery Complex from SkinMedica at a fraction of the price SkinMedica charges. 69% of what makes up our product is essentially the same advanced active biotech ingredient that is in SkinMedica’s TNS. Besides the price, the main difference is that TNS comes in a gel and ours is a cream. Clinical studies to support claims that are made by us as well as SkinMedica were performed on our product in 2001. Since our product and TNS are very similar, the same study results as well as key marketing claims used by us for our product are\were also used by SkinMedica in their advertisement of TNS. We had two ad campaigns on TV. First with Lindsay Wagner in 2002 and then more recently with Morgan Brittany (Pam Ewing’s half sister from the TV show DALLAS). So as you can see, our product is well established, tested and proven.

In the manufacturing of human-based therapeutic skin tissue products used in a variety of medical treatments, the growing cell colonies bath continuously with a proprietary nutrient solution called Human Fibroblast Conditioned Media. The key ingredient Human Fibroblast Conditioned Media is made from by-products of bioengineered human tissue used for burn patients. Human Fibroblast Conditioned Media contains many of the essential nutrients that the human body naturally produces and that are important for healthy skin.

Fibroblasts, the cells of our dermis (lower layer of skin) can be grown under sterile conditions in bioreactors which reproduce the conditions of the body and therefore “trick” the cells into functioning as they would during natural growth. The enriched solutions have been shown to contain human collagens (soluble), hyaluronic acid, essential amino acids, natural antioxidants, and naturally occurring growth factors such as TGF Beta (induces collagen synthesis), KGF (stimulates growth of epidermal cells), VEGF (increases blood flow), and IL3/IL6 (reduces inflammation).
